The Shoals Theatre welcomes the Shoals Symphony Orchestra for four brief ‘socially distant’ concerts (with very limited audience size). Find a little much-needed holiday cheer from our heart to yours.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM
FEB 6 at 7 PM

Choreographer David Justin returns to Florence, bringing professional dancers from the Northwest Arkansas Ballet Theatre to grace the stage as ballet and symphony perform to Mendelssohn’s rapturous music inspired by Shakespeare’s fairy tale play. This RESCHEDULED event has additional tickets for sale.

SPECIAL EVENT: FROM BACH to BRUBECK
MAR 13 at 7 PM

The Ritz Theatre in Sheffield welcomes Joanne Smith, Professor Emeritus of Piano and Pedagogy from the University of Michigan, as a Special Event performer for the Shoals Symphony Orchestra. Her enjoyable, interactive program takes us from the music of Bach to Brubeck (and a little Beyond)! Delicious appetizers and libations included.

The film that gave the world one of its greatest movie heroes, Indiana Jones, is back and better than ever before! Relive the magic on the silver screen with the original great adventure and John Williams’ epic score performed live to picture by a full symphony orchestra!

JOHN PAUL WHITE – MEET & GREET at the MANE ROOM
APRIL 30 at 5 PM

Prior to the concert with the Shoals Symphony Orchestra, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks while meeting John Paul White himself! Very limited attendance available, and seperate from all other ticket packages and benefits. (This Meet/Greet Ticket must be purchased in addition to the concert ticket).

Four-time Grammy Award winning artist and Tennessee Valley native John Paul White joins the SSO in a crossover event of Southern Rock, Americana, and Country hits that make the Single Lock Records co-owner famous. World-renowned orchestrator and San Diego Symphony conductor Scott O’Neil seamlessly integrates White’s band with orchestra for a one-of-a-kind event!

Completing the bookends of our season at the Shoals Theatre, this concert honors front line medical workers and first responders in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Familiar pops and film music is sure to inspire!
