Please find below the SSO 2020-2021 COVID-19 safety overview and other frequenty asked questions.
Covid-19 Procedures Update
Thank you for your positive words of encouragement as the Shoals Symphony Orchestra has been adjusting to the unexpected challenges around the COVID‐19 pandemic. We are excited to offer a dynamic season for you as one of our faithful patrons. For the 2020-2021 Season the following adjustments have been made to provide an environment as safe as possible for SSO patrons.
- Fall 2020 events are entirely virtual for patrons to view from home
- First two live, in-person events will be enjoyed ‘Socially Distanced’ with safety protocols (i.e. December concert at a maximum 34% capacity)
- Masks will be required for all patrons in attendance in compliance with the University of North Alabama’s COVID-19 safety guidelines.
- Please follow all noted pathways for ingress and egress throughout the lobby
- Hand sanitizer will be available at all outside doors and restrooms
- All other concerts have COVID-19 provisions and backup plans in place should Social Distancing be required
How does this affect current Ticket Holders for rescheduled events?
- Season Ticket Holders may not receive your exact seat location from the previous season due to social distancing measures, but you will be given priority seating near the same location.
- Single Ticket buyers may be moved prior to the event to ensure appropriate social distancing, but will be seated close to the same location.
More details will be communicated as concerts approach and new information on COVID-19 safety recommendations is received.
